Review and route documents through Docutrak system to appropriate departmentVerifies payers and demographic information. Where applicable, fill in gaps in demographic informationWorks with internal and external customers to resolve assigned accounts. Productivity records will be maintainedWorks with Admissions Director/Supervisor in researching pharmacy accounts requiring special attention and taking all necessary action to ensure accuracy of data being enteredWorks with Admissions Director/Supervisor and other members of the management team on special projects as neededPerforms other tasks as assignedQualificationsRequired: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired: 1-year data entry experienceDesired: 1-year billing and/or collections experience, or 1-year experience in the healthcare industryRequired: 10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledgeDesired: Benefits investigation knowledgeAbout our Line of BusinessPharMerica is a full-service pharmacy solution providing value beyond medication.
