A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities* Assists in departmental human resource functions: drafts job descriptions for departmental staff, provides input into/prepares performance evaluations for other clerical staff, assists in formulating and implementing departmental policies; recruits and manages office personnel, handles office conflicts, and assigns any new or additional responsibilities. Trains and supervises new personnel.* Demonstrates effective leadership skills to maintain credibility, trust and support with staff and senior management. Communicates openly and clearly between staff, the Section Chief, and internal departments.* Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the Section Chief's ability to effectively lead the department.* Manages all departmental accounts and/or grants. Provides monthly, quarterly and annual reports of all accounting transactions, maintains all records of all transactions, processes all accounts payable for departmental purchases.* Manages the physicians' clinical schedules using the online Qgenda software system. Works closely with the Clinical Lead to review the schedule and approve time off requests. Tracks, completes, and submits monthly physician timesheets to PAA Administration.
