This position manages the patient intake process and is the first face families see when they have an appointment with Clinical Research Services. A Place to Be Proud.ResponsibilitiesManages the daily activities of the administrative office staff, assigns duties and supervises daily departmental activities of administrative office staff; Assists in departmental human resource functions: provides input into/prepares and conducts performance evaluations for other clerical staff.Maintains timesheets for all CRS staff; completes payroll for all CRS staff and compiles monthly research staff reports for Research Accounting; Maintains on-call schedule for medical directors; liaison with PBX.Works with Director to develop and implement departmental administrative policies related to subject scheduling, registration, subject reimbursement and petty cash; ensures policies are consistent with hospital operations and financial processes and policies are consistent with Research Accounting. Participates in training new staff on administrative processes and policies.Oversees multiple administrative quality/process improvement projects simultaneously within the department to find ways to save time, money, and/or increase efficiency. Collects data and compiles various reports for monthly department performance metrics.Responsible for all administrative functions for the Director as well as other clinical and administrative staff of CRS.
