This is a temporary, part time clerical/administrative position working with our Procurement group. This position will start around mid March and be approximately 12 weeks in length. You will be working approximately 20 - 30 hours a week. Preference is for the selected candidate to work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week but depending on availability, this can be a flexible role. This position will be working in our Fenton location.
We are open to the work hours as long as it is within daytime hours, M-F. Open to current students, 18 years and older, that are local to the St. Louis area as well.
Primary Responsibilities
50% - Monitor department mailboxes, creates requisitions and purchase orders. Monitors requisitions for conformance to company policy. Responds to internal requests for information concerning data and status of requisitions. Investigates discrepancies between Purchase Orders and Invoices as needed. Processes PO changes as needed.
50% - Facilitate Supplier Onboarding process. Responsible for processing supplier set up forms, process all paperwork and approval routing for new suppliers.
Qualifications
Proven ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team environment as well as work independently with little or no supervision.
Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting multiple deadlines and providing high level customer service.
Attention to detail and quality a must.
Flexibility and time management skills a must while efficiently prioritizing competing initiatives.
Excellent communication for all levels of management.
