Responsibilities At the entry level of this position, you will: Serve as the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Regional Administrator and provide overall administrative leadership to the Office of the Executive. Manage the front office, performs a variety of administrative support functions, providing administrative and technical support services to facilitate the workflow of the organization. Provide high-level administrative support by researching, analyzing, and drafting reports as requested on a wide variety of topics. Participate in special projects and assignments and assists in a wide variety of administrative and management functions. Prepare and conducts a variety of special and recurring administrative projects, reports, and guidance. When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level. Qualifications We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below: To qualify for the GS-09 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-07 level defined as collaborates with internal and external customers to accomplish duties and/or responsibilities; maintaining executive calendars and/or schedules; coordinating administrative work of day-to-day office functions. - OR master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related; degree in an academic discipline related to this position - OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. To qualify for the GS-11 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-09 level defined as advises and collaborates with internal and external customers to accomplish duties and/or responsibilities; maintaining executive calendars and/or schedules; coordinating administrative work of day-to-day office functions; and performing analysis of administrative functions. - OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., in an academic discipline related to this position - OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
