Administrative SpecialistJob LocationsUS-OH-WPAFBID2024-7666CategoryOtherTypeRegular Full-TimeOverviewCredence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring an Administrative Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/IN at WPAFB, OH.ResponsibilitiesSupport internal and external briefings and reports by applying knowledge, experience and capability in the use of personal computers and operating systems to produce products (slides, briefing charts, documents) using appropriate software applications (see Section 3.1.3).Compile and prepare briefings and reports in hard copy; and provide assistance during briefings upon request.Integrate information into required reports; generate and maintain files and file plans; process mail (receive, sign for, and distribute both classified and unclassified); access, store, and handle classified material as required; monitor and answer telephones; complete office time sheets and maintain office attendance records; serve as alternate FARM; arrange and track unit travel, leave and training courses on electronic calendars.Administrative and security support contractors may serve as escorts.For those duties aligned with security support, they will be outlined and assigned by the local SCI SSO and may include limited "in-house" personnel security functions. Appointment of "in-house" contractors to SCI security responsibilities will be signed, in writing, by the SIO with security cognizance over the local SCI environment. The COR and/or CO must concur with the appointment. Written concurrence must include validation that appointed Contractor meets AFMAN 12-96 requirements.The assigned security Contractor would not be authorized to complete the following: sign on behalf of the Government, act in any capacity as the chief of personnel security or perform any industrial security functions, accept a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or non-disclosure statement (NDS) for the Government, and will not conduct SCI screening interviews. Contractors can only perform SCI Security Official's responsibilities in the SCIF where he/she was hired to work.Apply physical security measures to open/close/secure Government facility.Receive, transmit and file visit request for assigned personnel and visitors.Assist with updating personnel security clearance and access databases.Issue and account for permanent personnel and visitor badges.Perform secure data transfers and data extraction using approved information systems security policies.Review and transmit media to/from internal and external networks.Maintain operating procedures and classification marking guidance.Produce necessary templates and required internal documents for the protection of classified material.Prepare and present courier briefing and issue courier identification.Maintain control databases and access to web-based systems for personnel security verification.In-process, provide education (per operating procedures) and badge permanent employees and visitors.Escort un-cleared personnel.Assist with internal conferences and meetings.Update forms, databases, records and internal website links (e.g. JPAS, Air Force Access Database, and security information and management systems).Create and post end-of-day security checklists for all secure facilities within the purview of the assigned SIO.Destroy unneeded classified material using approved procedures.Perform self-inspection checks, record findings and recommend corrective action.Prepare material for transmission to archive sites.Maintain metrics of requests for security support through program security log files.Perform security functions as necessary/assigned during force protection conditions (electronic mail response and notificat
