Hourly Pay Rate: $16 - $17.50
Provides assistance to employees who call the employee service line with HR related concerns. Provides administrative support to Human Resources(HR).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clearly and cordially answers and operates the Employee Service Line (ESL).
Provides support to incoming callers, assesses purpose of call, and supplies needed info to appropriate personnel or department.
Develops knowledge of HR matters to provide outstanding customer service.
Takes and delivers messages, transfers calls to appropriate personnel.
Enters call details into logs and updates as necessary.
Retrieves messages from voicemail and email, responds or forwards to appropriate personnel.
Maintains awareness of current happenings to relay pertinent information to callers.
Keeps supervisor informed of trends and unique occurrences.
Ascertains when additional information may need to be communicated to employees and future callers.
Responsible for scanning and uploading documentation to employee files.
Provides employment verifications to external agencies.
May assist with sorting and distributing HR mail.
Performs clerical duties as requested by supervisor.
Completes special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED and 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
