  Anthropology, in the College of Arts and Sciences, is the study of what it means to be human in the broadest sense, through an examination of culture and society (sociocultural and linguistic anthropology), the biology and evolution of humans and our closest relatives (biological anthropology) and the study of past human communities and material culture (archaeology). Students develop an appreciation of the value of physical and cultural differences at the local, national, and global levels, and learn critical thinking skills that support them in their careers.

  What We Want

  The Administrative Associate IV will provide support towards the Center for the Study of the First Americans. This position will serve as point of contact for donors and members as well as process member’s requests of Center periodicals and merchandise. They will provide support for the Director, Associate Director, Research Affiliates, and labs. In addition to ordering supplies, overseeing lab inspections, and staff scheduling.   What You Need to Know

  Starting Salary: $16 per hour

  Required Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  Knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and donor relations

  Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

  Interpersonal and communication skills

  Planning and organization skills

  Preferred Education and Experience:

  Donor relations and customer service

  Responsibilities:

  Supports the Center for the Study of the First Americans

  Serves as the point of contact for donors and members

  Processes member’s requests of Center periodicals and merchandise

  Supports the Director, Associate Director, Research Affiliates, and labs

  Orders supplies, oversees lab inspections, and staff scheduling
