Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in QUAKERTOWN, Pennsylvania. The job function involves administrative duties in a tax-focused environment, where the incumbent will be expected to handle customer interactions, manage scheduling and filings, and utilize computer skills to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and scan tax returns brought in by customers.

• Maintain and update Workflow software by assigning tax returns to CPAs.

• Manage scheduling for appointments and handle incoming calls, particularly during tax season.

• Organize and assemble corporate and individual tax returns for filing.

• Provide simple filing instructions to customers for their tax returns.

• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of customer information at all times.

• Use computer skills to manage digital documents and records.

• Handle pick-ups of tax returns.

• Use customer service skills to resolve inquiries and provide information.

• Maintain an orderly filing system for easy retrieval of documents. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in filing and document organization

• Experience in scanning documents and converting them into digital files

• Ability to manage scheduling tasks, including arranging meetings and appointments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in using office equipment, including printers and scanners

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Previous experience in an administrative role would be a plus
