Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Administrative Assistant to be part of our team in JENISON, Michigan. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include managing communication through phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing payroll, maintaining systematic filing, and conducting interviews.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments

• Organize and schedule appointments in a timely manner

• Process payroll for employees using specific payroll systems

• Maintain an efficient filing system for easy retrieval of documents

• Conduct interviews for prospective employees

• Utilize MS Office to prepare and edit documents and reports

• Coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations

• Monitor and manage office supplies inventory

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers and colleagues

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to the company's privacy policies. Requirements • Proficient in managing switchboard phones, handling up to 10 lines simultaneously

• Experience in payroll services and banking processes

• Demonstrated ability in filing and maintaining an organized document system

• Prior experience in conducting interviews and screening candidates

• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred

• Previous experience in an administrative role would be advantageous.
