About Administrative Assistant

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to our Project Manager, including coordinating projects, tracking new leads and projects, typing proposals, and answering emails. The job function is primarily administrative, with a strong emphasis on multitasking and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in tracking new leads and ongoing projects.

• Type and prepare proposals for potential projects.

• Respond to emails in a timely and detail oriented manner.

• Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Follow up on project estimates to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain an organized system for tracking project progress.

• Provide general assistance to the Projects Department as needed.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and present data effectively.

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing as necessary.

• Ensure clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external clients. Requirements • Role requires at least 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant position or similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on one's feet

• High level of professionalism and ability to deal with confidential information

• Experience with other Microsoft Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint is a plus

• Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess strong time management skills

• Experience in data entry, record keeping, and office management systems is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, further education in Office Administration is a plus.
