Kraemer North America is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant tojoin our Mountain West team in Castle Rock, CO (office-based position).The Administrative Assistant performs various accounting and clerical dutiesand assists project management and foremen with maintaining an efficient jobsite while providing customer assistance. This person also performs variousaccounting tasks, file and record maintenance, payroll preparation,report preparation, estimating support, new hire paperwork, and otherclerical duties, as assigned. This role also assists project management incoordinating resources, schedules and subcontractors for on-site activities.

Responsibilities
Process routine paperwork: Invoices, submittals, etc.Assist estimators in all aspects of estimating process (vendorsolicitation, bid document preparation and distribution, etc.)Compare vendor/subcontractor invoices to purchase orders or contracts toverify quantities, price, payment terms, freight charges, extensions, etc.Compute discounts, make sales/use tax determinations and enter invoicesonline for paymentPerform miscellaneous duties, such as word processing and submittals copyingand collating, subcontractor and/or vendor correspondence and customer serviceAssist in doing Final Close out for Projects
Establish and maintain files in accordance with KNA filing protocol asdirected by supervisor for payroll, accounts payable, general accountingdocuments and jobsite filing systemPerform invoice preparationResolve discrepancies on invoices or reports by interfacing with otherdepartments, vendors (Contractors) and clientsProcess training for new hires
Check on availability, schedule shipments, gather information, andcorrespond with vendors via phone/mail/faxAssist in monitoring jobsite safety issuesAssist Foreman and superintendents with field related problemsCode payablesDistribute all pertinent information to project managementPrepare plans for submittal to project ownerMonitor office supply inventoryAssist project managers with labor union notification/communicationWork closely with the IT Department to ensure the accessibility of information
Qualifications
Two years' construction industry accounting and clerical experience preferredKnowledge of general office proceduresExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, Viewpoint, ExpeditionKnowledge of construction/field operationsStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsAbility to interact and communicate effectively with othersDemonstrated leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities; flexibility in performing tasksDetail OrientatedAbility to remain on task with numerous interruptionsSelf-motivated

Hiring Range: $20.00 - $23.00/hour; starting wage is dependent onmultiple factors: education, experience, skills, market rates,internal equity and/or location.
