United States - WI - Superior Graymont is seeking a full-timeAdministrative Assistant at Graymont\'s Superior, Wisconsin operation.The Administrative Assistant is a fast-paced role that supports theentire plant including supporting safety initiatives, taking meetingnotes and leading the plant\'s Wellness Program. Other responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, entering payroll time sheets andproduction information in JD Edwards (JDE), running daily updates andgenerating reports from the scale system and creating work and purchaseorders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage general office duties, such as interacting with visitors,vendors, contractors and employees Maintain office supplies, mail,shipping, etc. Assist site staff with administrative duties. Enterpayroll time sheets and production information in JD Edwards (JDE).Maintain employee files and track attendance / vacation balances.Review, update, finalize and distribute ODE reports in JDE SupportGraymont safety initiatives, safety meeting minutes, postings,organization schedule and Wellness program Support for creating workorders, purchase orders / requisitions in (JDE) Work with Corporateaccounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll departments. Supportand maintain all office filing, plant files and records: environmentaland safety. Answer phones and respond to inquiries from customers andstaff Run daily updates and generate reports from scale system, JDE,Cognos and Excel. Perform quality control on data prior to uploading toJDE. Interaction with, Staff, Customers, Maintenance and Productionpersonnel on a daily basis. Share duties and back-up for other officerelated duties and other duties as assigned. Responsible to organizeplant recognition events. QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum 2 years ofexperience in a fast paced, multi-tasking office environment. Diploma ofCollegial Studies or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. Strong understanding and appreciation of deadlines andcommitment to schedules. Excellent communication, teamwork and timemanagement skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) andwillingness to learn other software. Able to work closely with plantpersonnel as a team contributor and able to work independently.
