Job Title: Administrative Assistant
FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt Reports to: Corps Officers
Schedule: FT, TBD Supervises: N/A

Pay Rate: $18/hour
Benefits : Standard; Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:

Function:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer telephone inquiries and handle requests related to programs.
Act as Advisory board liaison, taking and sending our minutes via email, keeping board and committee schedules, send out meeting reminders by phone, email and mail.
Handle correspondence with board members and donors.
Create and maintain contact list for volunteers, special events, and fundraisers.
Perform general office errands including picking up/delivering supplies and other duties as assigned by the Corps Officers.
General administrative duties, including but not limited to answering phones, receive/disburse mail, greet visitors and scheduling events for Corps Officers.
Keep up to date records of employee's training.
Keep files up to date for each employee.
Working with DHQ HR with TSAMM items as needed following directions and guidance in HR processing.
Verification of employment (dates and title), communication, use of the Landing and TSA systems for HR processing.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED; two years related administrative work experience; current valid Colorado driver's license

Continued employment will be contingent on a biennial (every 2 years) background check that is processed in accordance with The Salvation Army's policies.
