DescriptionThe School of Sport Sciences within the College of Applied Human Sciences at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-Time Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Spring 2024, Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters.The School of Sport Sciences houses five undergraduate degree programs and six graduate degree programs. The department values intellectual diversity and demonstrated ability to work with diverse students and colleagues. Areas of need include, but may not be limited to, classroom and online courses in coaching and performance science; physical education and kinesiology; sport, exercise and performance psychology; and sport management.

　　QualificationsThese positions at minimum require a master's or doctoral degree in one or more of the course content areas, as well as evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load - which may vary depending on departmental need.
