Adjuncts are neededfor both fully online courses (online, asynchronous), remote classes(online, synchronous), and in-person classes. Topics include humanresource management, international business, strategic management,leadership, general management, and entrepreneurship. An additional needis for professionals in the Resort and Hospitality industry, includinglegal experience.

　　The Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Management isresponsible for teaching students in a designated area ofspecialization. They have responsibility for determining grades forcourse requirements based on course objectives and criteria as definedin the course syllabus. They work directly with the Associate Chair ofthe Management Department and the Business Operations Manager.

　　**Adjunct faculty are not required to participate as team members inshared governance, are not responsible for advising students, and arenot voting members of the department.

　　Adjunct faculty are hired on a semester-to-semester basis. This is for apart-time, non-benefited role.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Demonstrates effective teaching.Applies appropriate policies and regulations within the University,College, and School.Develops and maintains positive working relationships with otherswithin the University, College, and School.Participates in activities promoting personal and professionaleducational growth.Maintains expertise in teaching the area of specialization.Serves as a professional role model for students.Apply appropriate teaching methods supported by evidence.Minimum Qualifications:

　　Minimum of a Master\'s Degree in the area of specialization or anMBA, or a J.D..Preferred Qualifications:

　　One or more years of teaching experience is preferred.Pay:

　　Wage is based upon educational degree and number of credits taught. Thestarting wage for an adjunct instructor is \$1209/credit.
