　　Periodically, adjunct teaching positions become available in Farmingdale's programs in Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Technology (LET) and Criminal Justice: Police Courts and Corrections (PCC). These Bachelor of Science degree programs are theoretical and technical programs that prepare students for careers in law enforcement on the local, state, and federal levels. The LET program blends coursework in computers, forensic science, crime prevention, technology and law to provide students with the necessary skills to control crime as well as to conduct investigations of crimes committed on a computer or at a crime scene. The PCC program blends coursework in policing, courts and corrections to provide students with the necessary skills to pursue careers in various disciplines within criminal justice.

　　This current posting is for individuals with education and experience in law and policy in order to teach courses such as Courts and the Judiciary, Privacy and Equality, Policy and Program Evaluation and/or Criminal Law. The applicant should have specific knowledge about civil rights and liberties, legal procedures, criminal law, constitutional law, and the development and implementation of policy to shape the criminal justice system.
