Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare is seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner or a physician assistant/first assist for its pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery programs in San Antonio, TX.
Qualified Candidates:
Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant and first assist program
BS degree, MS degree or equivalent
Experience in the cardiac specialty field or ICU, and/or cardiovascular service-line field with preference given to those candidates with experience in congenital heart care
Texas license eligible
Board certified by the NCCPA or equivalent
Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS provider
This is a great opportunity to work with our growing programs as a first assistant in surgery, in pre/post-surgical care, and encounter with patients at clinic
