Description

Robert Half is looking for Accounts Receivable Clerks to perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data for our clients in the Eugene area. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities in this role will include processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be preparing bills receivable, invoices, and bank deposits.

Job Duties:

Process and record incoming payments from clients accurately and timely.

Generate and send invoices to clients on schedule.

Reconcile discrepancies in payment records and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable.

Communicate effectively with clients to address payment inquiries and concerns.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and timely collection.

Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.

Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Strong organizational skills to handle a high volume of transactions.

Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.

Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
