We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk within the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions, specifically focusing on accounts receivable tasks. This role involves a range of duties, including cash posting, bank activity posting, deposits, and petty cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record transactions including receipts and bank deposits

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted

• Resolve accounts receivable issues with customers or employees

• Post daily receipts and prepare bank deposits

• Manage petty cash activities and perform regular reconciliation

• Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements for users

• Develop and maintain a filing system for financial documents and records

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and procedures

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations

• Use 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Cash Posting', and 'Petty Cash' skills in day-to-day tasks.

Requirements • Previous experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS sector

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Competency in Cash Posting procedures

• Experience managing Petty Cash

• Strong numerical and data entry skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong customer service orientation

• Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge as required by the role.
