　　This position is an opportunity to grow with a thriving company as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional. Robert Half is filling an Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, for a dynamic organization. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is a permanent position in the Cincinnati Ohio area. Candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, will be preferred for this position.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Manage monthly closings and annual reports, including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

　　Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department

　　Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required

　　Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

　　Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures

　　Verify the correctness of documents and codes

　　Requirements - Efficient in ERP systems

　　1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

　　General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

　　Experience with Collecting Payments

　　Strong familiarity with Cash Collections

　　Collect Outstanding experience preferred

　　Command of Business-to-business (B2B)

　　Practical knowledge of month end closings

　　Quality experience with Month-end Close Activities

　　Proven knowledge of commercial collections

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
