Description If you're an efficient worker with experience as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional, Robert Half has a career-building opportunity in the Manufacturing industry for you to consider. In this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is a short-term contract / contract to hire Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the West Chester Twp, Ohio area.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP

　　Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

　　Verify codes and documents

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

　　Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

　　Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization

　　Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers Requirements - Billing experience

　　Prepare Invoices experience

　　Expertise in cash applications

　　General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Well-founded grasp of commercial collections

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

　　Foundational knowledge in Billing Functions

　　Proven knowledge of Billing Collection

　　Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

　　Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

　　Efficient in ERP systems
