Responsibilities include verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data while providing exceptional customer service. This position is hybrid with a primary location in Alexandria, VA. There will be an opportunity to work remotely within the Washington D.C. metro area most of the time.
Responsibilities
Address all customer/members inquiries and provide resolutions when discrepancies arise.Record customer and member payments, process refunds and cancellations.Process incoming deposits received by ACHs, Wires, Lockbox and Credit Cards, ensure proper fund coding, provide accurate back-up paperwork and provide timely entries.Work collaboratively with other departments to create and record manual invoices.Manage unapplied payments and unbilled analyses.Work on invoicing issues and disputes including developing an effective methodology for bad debts.Participate in month-end closing and ensure all entries are made timely according to deadlines provided via Smartsheet.Represent sales, billing, and collections function on cross-functional project teams and liaise with collection agency when necessary.Assist with annual audit and other special projects as assigned by management.Required Education and Experience
