Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks and expense reports. Within this dynamic department, you will have the opportunity to advance and grow your career. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Specialist is located in the New York, New York area.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Provide support to internal business partners

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Produce full-cycle A/P

　　Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

　　Requirements - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

　　Oracle experience

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
