Description

A leading real estate company in Solana Beach, CA, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of AP processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing: Review, code, and process invoices accurately, ensuring timely payment to vendors.

Payment Management: Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies.

Record Management: Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents for audits and reporting.

Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining positive and professional relationships.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Experience: 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and experience with accounting ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, SAP, or Oracle).

Attributes: Exceptional time management, problem-solving abilities, and great attention to detail.

Knowledge Base: Familiarity with accounting principles, property management, and real estate industry terminology is a huge plus2
