Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is within the Restaurants Catering industry where you will be responsible for various accounting functions, particularly focusing on accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable within the organization, ensuring accurate and efficient operations

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data management and report generation

• Handle customer inquiries regarding their accounts, providing timely and accurate responses

• Perform account coding for various transactions, ensuring they are correctly classified

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other financial operations

• Work with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for managing business processes

• Accurately record and manage accrual accounting entries

• Conduct regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Manage transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic money transfer

• Utilize Concur for travel and expense management. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, without any direct affiliation

• Experience with Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles

• Auditing experience, preferably in a restaurant or catering industry

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Proficiency in Account Coding for accurate financial records.
