Description

We are supporting a well-established non-profit organization in San Ysidro that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This position involves processing a high volume of invoices, working within a larger A/P team, and utilizing the Great Plains accounting system. This is a long-term contract opportunity for someone looking for stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Process high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately.

Manage check runs and ensure timely vendor payments.

Reconcile A/P transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Collaborate with a larger A/P team to meet departmental goals.

Utilize Great Plains for data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

Previous experience in accounts payable, particularly in processing high volumes.

Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software (required).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment and manage deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
