Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the transport industry based in Richfield, Minnesota. This role involves managing and processing invoices within our accounts payable system, as well as reporting monthly operating statistics and recording manual journal entries. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices accurately and efficiently within the accounts payable system

• Reporting monthly operating statistics

• Recording manual journal entries at the end of each month

• Redistributing administrative and task management duties amongst the team

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation

• Checking invoice processing and handling any discrepancies

• Coding invoices and managing approved invoices

• Handling accounting functions related to accounts payable

• Managing accruals, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must be well-versed in various accounting functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Ability to handle check processing tasks efficiently

• Proficiency in data entry is required

• Ability to handle discrepancies effectively

• Experience in coding invoices is necessary

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required

• Experience in processing approved invoices is necessary

• Ability to handle invoice processing tasks efficiently

• Experience in managing accruals is required
