Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a short-term contract / temporary basis to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Fort Worth, Texas area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.
Responsibilities
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Operate full-cycle A/P
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Perform special projects as assigned
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department Requirements - Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Purchase Orders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Lawson experience required
High attention to detail
