Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with expertise in SAP for a long-term contract opportunity in Bergen County, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and executing the accounts payable process efficiently. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Efficiently process a high volume of invoices using SAP software.

　　Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.

　　Ensure accuracy in coding and entry of invoices into the system.

　　Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any invoicing discrepancies.

　　Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and address payment-related issues.

　　Process payments in adherence to established payment terms.

　　Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payments.

　　Prepare and distribute payment reports to relevant stakeholders.

　　Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

　　Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues.

　　Generate financial reports for management review.

　　Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

　　Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of accounts payable activities.

　　Assist in internal and external audits related to accounts payable.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, minimum of 3 years preferred

　　Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

　　Effective communication and interpersonal skills

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software

　　Familiarity with SAP modules related to accounts payable.
