They are located near Visalia, CA and those would be an on-site role. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic accounting department.
Job Overview:
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient processing of accounts payable transactions within our organization. You will lead a team of five employees and utilize cutting-edge AI cloud software to streamline and optimize the accounts payable processes.
Requirements
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of five accounts payable professionals.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
Ensure the team meets performance targets and deadlines.
Process Optimization:
Implement and optimize accounts payable processes using AI cloud software.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technology trends.
Vendor Relations:
Manage relationships with vendors and ensure timely and accurate payments.
Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
Financial Reporting:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Generate reports on accounts payable metrics for management review.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Implement cost-saving measures and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with AI cloud software for accounts payable processing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
