Position Summary
To coordinate all Accounts Payable clerical functions for BV CPS US and related entities. Ensures all accounts payable processes run smoothly and efficiently. Supports the AP Supervisor in the weekly check run.
Objective
Responsible for data entry for accounts payable, including PO creation and invoice entry, setting up new vendors in JD Edwards Flex and proper electronic filing/archiving of accounts payable documentation.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
Process income mail and email – invoices and purchase orders
Ensure proper approvals for all invoices and purchase requests
Enter vouchers in FLEX (accounting software)
Supplier address book maintenance for accounts payable
Investigate and reconcile queries on invoices/accounts as needed
Accurately record expenses in proper business unit and account in general ledger
Communicate directly with outside vendors and internal managers daily
Assist supervisor with other duties according to departmental needs and workload
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong Organization and Communication Skills
JD Edwards experience is a plus
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer MS Office
Possess knowledge of the department’s office procedures and equipment
Ability to grasp and retain knowledge of new systems, processes and equipment
Detail oriented, strong problem solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information

Experience and Educational Background Required for the Job
Coordinator I:
2 years related experience --OR-- 2 year degree in Accounting or Business WITH no experienceCoordinator II:
2 year degree in Business or Accounting WITH 1 year related experienceCompensation Range: $20 - $24 hourly (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
