Description

　　Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk interested in developing their career to join a fast-growing team with a promising Wholesale Distribution company. Candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Rancho Dominguez, California area. Advance your career by taking advantage of this exciting opportunity.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

　　Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Accomplish full-cycle A/P

　　Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Knowledge of data entry

　　Clerical Duties experience

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
