Description Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Seattle, Washington, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Perform full-cycle A/P

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

　　Provide support during internal and external audits

　　Provide support to internal business partners Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Practical knowledge of Refund Checks

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Approved Invoices

　　Knowledge of Code Invoices

　　Refund Requests experience highly preferred

　　Adeptness in numeric data entry

　　General familiarity with Process Refunds

　　Deep understanding of Coding Invoices

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Perform Data Entry

　　Experience with data entry

　　Customer invoices experience

　　Background working with Check Runs

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases
