Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Irving, Texas, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Manage full-cycle A/P

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

　　Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

　　Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

　　Execute additional tasks as needed

　　Provide support during internal and external audits

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Quality experience with Invoice Entry

　　Skills in Process Vendor Invoices

　　Batch Processing experience preferred

　　Wide ranging experience with Invoice Payment

　　Earlier work involving Invoice Processing

　　Well-founded grasp of Enter Vendor Invoices

　　Experience with Microsoft Excel

　　General familiarity with Invoice Coding

　　Weekly Account Payable experience preferred

　　Comprehension of Reconcile Vendor Statements

　　Practical knowledge of Invoice Discrepancies

　　Coding Invoices experience

　　Previous experience working with Maintain Vendor Files

　　Proven knowledge of Enter Invoices

　　Deep understanding of Code Invoices

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

　　Good understanding of Payable Invoices

　　Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
