Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Norton Shores, Michigan. This role involves carrying out a range of financial operations within our manufacturing industry, with particular emphasis on managing accounts payable and payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to address any inquiries or issues.

• Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.

• Reconcile accounts payable records with the general ledger.

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Maintain employee records, including timekeeping, tax forms, and deductions.

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, such as overpayments or missing hours.

• Assist in the preparation and balancing of payroll reports, including 401(k), garnishments, and tax filings.

• Perform reconciliations and assist in month-end or year-end closing processes.

• Generate financial reports as requested to support management.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.

• Proven expertise in account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems.

• Experience with check runs.

• Ability to accurately code invoices.

• Proficient in data entry tasks.

• Experience in invoice processing is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle financial software is desirable.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is beneficial.

• Familiarity with SAP software is an advantage.
