Hybrid Accounts Payable Clerk/3 days a week onsite:

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry based in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. As part of the team, your primary role will entail AP data entry during a crucial implementation phase. You will be instrumental in entering invoice details into our automated system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process customer invoices into our automated system.

• Correct any discrepancies where the system was not able to populate invoice details accurately.

• Apply your experience with numbers-driven data entry to maintain the integrity of our accounting data.

• Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively.

• Leverage your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Coding Invoices to ensure smooth operations.

• Respond to inquiries related to invoice details and resolve them promptly.

• Work collaboratively with the rest of the A/P team to ensure a smooth transition during the software learning phase.

Requirements • Possess a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in Coding Invoices

• Demonstrated ability in Data Entry

• Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry preferred

• Understanding of basic accounting principles

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
