Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk in the construction industry. Based in Sacramento, California, you will be an integral part of our team, handling a significant amount of payables, including invoice processing and check runs. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process high volumes of invoices for construction projects

• Prepare checks for issuance and ensure timely mailing

• Assist with online invoice management and bill pay transactions

• Conduct weekly check runs and process security deposit check runs

• Ensure accurate data entry and coding of invoices

• Handle a small volume of bank deposits as necessary

• Carry out vendor reconciliations and research past due balances as needed

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Yardi for various tasks

• Assist with account reconciliation and accounts payable activities

• Maintain and update financial records for audit purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Construction/Contractor industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices is required.

• Demonstrable Data Entry skills.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is important.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Knowledge of Oracle is a must.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks is beneficial.

• Experience with SAP is desirable.

• Proficiency in Yardi is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High level of discretion and confidentiality for sensitive financial information.
