Description Robert Half is seeking a short-term contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a rapidly growing team at a dynamic company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Orlando, Florida area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.

Major responsibilities

Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

Implement full-cycle A/P

Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

Carry out additional projects as required

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

Provide support during internal and external audits

Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Oracle experience required

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
