Description You could be the Accounts Payable Clerk this successful Construction/Contractor company is looking for, if you're a detail-oriented individual. A dynamic organization with a growing team seeks an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Irwindale, California area.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Complete full-cycle A/P

　　Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

　　Provide support during internal and external audits

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

　　Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it Requirements - 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Proficiency in Weekly Account Payable

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

　　Solid understanding of contracts
