Description Robert Half presently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the San Diego, California area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Provide support during internal and external audits

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

　　Manage full-cycle A/P

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Carry out additional tasks as assigned

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners Requirements - Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
