Description

　　You could join the ranks of a successful company, is you are a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk. This position could take the right candidate's career to the next level. You will thrive in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position at a dynamic organization with a growing team, if you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a permanent position based in the Upstate South Carolina area.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Perform full-cycle A/P

　　Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities
