Description Robert Half is seeking a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become a vital part of a rapidly growing team at a respectable company in the Manufacturing industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. Located in Clackamas, Oregon, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Fullfill full-cycle A/P

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

　　Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Execute additional tasks as needed Requirements

　　Well-founded grasp of SAP

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Command of 10 Key Accounting

　　Proven knowledge of Maintaining Vendor Files

　　Coding Invoices experience

　　Experience with Managing Vendor Relationships

　　General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　Check Runs experience preferred

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Great attention to detail

　　Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
