　　The Outbrain finance team is responsible for the financial management of Outbrain across the globe (including US and UK being the largest regions). The AP Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance and integrity of certain account ledgers with a heavy focus on the Accounts Payable function. This role will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.

　　 A day in the life

　　Manage invoice mailboxes on a daily basis Coding AP invoices and posting into Netsuite for some EU entities Process PO backed and csv upload invoices for Publishers via Netsuite and Non-Publishers via COUPA Maintain a high level of Customer Service with internal and external stakeholders on resolving queries with regards to statements and overdue invoices Weekly review and follow up on unapproved invoices and unreceipted PO’s in COUPA Managing unpaid invoices and organising bills due to be paid Reviewing of accounts payable ageing in Netsuite and COUPA Preparing weekly payment runs in multiple currencies through COUPA Pay and Tipalti Review and Approve Concur expenses and Amex transactions in line with the expenses Policy Understanding of UK/EU countries VAT, and US W9 & 1099 procedures. Preparation of monthly accruals to assist with the local accountants reporting Assisting with the year end audit Assisting in testing of system upgrades and automation projects Handling other ad hoc tasks within finance when required  

　　What you’ll bring

　　Minimum 4+ years of relevant AP experience  Experience working with Netsuite, COUPA and Tipalti, or another accounting system Basic accounting knowledge of prepayments/accruals/fixed assets Forensic attention to detail Highly organised and self-motivated Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills Effective communication skills Proactive attitude – ability to take initiative to get things done Be motivated with an eye for process improvement  

　　Nice to have

　　Good quality degree in relevant discipline or AAT qualified Experience of working with advertising, marketing, or media agencies would be preferable Immediate availability
