Job Title: Accounts Payable/Purchasing Clerk

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (100% On-site)

Position Type: Temporary (February to June)

Hours: Flexible, 25-30 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Purchasing Clerk to manage our organization's financial transactions and procurement processes during a temporary assignment from February to June. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and accounts payable functions. Experience or knowledge in a school setting is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Create and manage purchase orders; monitor and follow up on outstanding orders.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable and purchasing activities.

Ensure timely payment of invoices and adherence to payment schedules.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless procurement and payment processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Experience in accounts payable processes.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Prior experience or knowledge in a school environment is a plus.

No formal degree required.
