What is this career opportunity? * The General Services Division (GSD) is looking for a detail-oriented individual with great soft skills to join their team as a part-time Accounting Technician.This position reports to the GSD Planning & Operations Manager and collaborates closely with GSD senior leadership. Responsibilities include performing a variety of Accounting Technician duties related to A/R and A/P and partnering with the DOA Office of Finance and Budget as needed. The work predominantly supports the Capitol Facilities Management Bureau and the GSD Service Desk, and includes: · Generating invoices from maintenance work orders and business services when appropriate · Tracking and processing various GSD business activities (procard, wex program, etc.) · Processing payments for approved bills · Billing rent to State agencies You can learn more about the Department of Administration’s General Services Divisionhere.
