Our Broker Dealer, Brokers Financial, is looking for an Accounting Specialist. The person would provide support to the CFO by posting journal entries, deposits, creating AR invoices and collections of outstanding invoices. Aid the Commission and Fee Coordinator for commission entry. Responsible for month end report preparation and additional data reporting requirements.
Essential Job Functions
Record journal entries, maintain credit card deposits, and create accounts receivable invoices.
Assist the Commission and Fee Coordinator for entry of commission transactions into the back-office system.
Input month end information for reporting purposes.
Manage representative outstanding balance, including collection, recording, reporting, and resolution of outstanding balances.
Responsible for the administration and maintenance of monthly fee billing process.

Experience and Education
Experience in the financial industry preferred, but not required.
Prior accounting experience preferred but not required.
Associates degree preferred plus 1-year experience, or 2 – 3 years related experience and/or training.
Will need to be fingerprinted with FINRA
