Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and tenured Accounting Specialist to join our team. This Accounting Specialist will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and timely entry into the system.
Reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies and resolving payment issues.
Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
Accounts Receivable:
Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and applying receipts accurately.
Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of aging reports and other financial analyses related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles, preferably in the electronic accessory industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
