　　Talented Accounting Managers will be interested in Robert Half's opportunity to work with a thriving Fort Worth manufacturing company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of manufacturing and maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial tasks, starting with the preparation, examination, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting procedural standards within established timelines. You will meticulously review the accuracy of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory balances in the accounting system, as well as analyze, update, and maintain the Standard Cost of both purchased and manufactured items. 　　Moreover, your role will involve a comprehensive review of work orders to guarantee the precise capture of costs. You will conduct in-depth analyses of Job Cost Variances to Standard Cost, and subsequently post relevant information. Additionally, your duties will extend to reviewing CIP and other fixed asset transactions for compliance with company policy, performing capital expenditure analyses, and actively participating in the month-end closing process. This includes the preparation and posting of journal entries, as well as reviewing account reconciliations.

　　You will also be responsible for reviewing accounts payable transactions to ensure correct coding, proper reflection in the designated accounting period, and appropriate classification as intercompany or related party, as necessary. Further, you will conduct thorough analyses of cost fluctuations in comparison to prior periods and forecasts, while also monitoring and balancing intercompany accounts receivable and accounts payable.

　　Requirements

　　This dynamic role will require your involvement in internal and external audit requests, as well as engagement in special projects and other assigned duties. During financial reporting periods, flexibility in working hours, with the potential for 40+ hours per week, may be necessary.

　　To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related, accredited field. Essential to this role is a background in manufacturing and standard cost, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within an accounting environment. While 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Though a CPA/CMA designation is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, is essential, as is the ability to occasionally travel as required.
