　　A thriving company is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. This is a successful Manufacturing organization that will recognize your efforts. Candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, will be preferred for this position. Candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations are the best fits for this position. Based in the Long Beach, California area, this Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

　　Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

　　Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

　　Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

　　Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

　　Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

　　Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

　　Requirements - Solid technical skills

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

　　Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

　　Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

　　5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

　　CPA/MBA preferred

　　Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

　　Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

　　Strong familiarity with Asset Inventory

　　Solid understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting

　　Knowledge of financial analysis

　　Proven knowledge of month end closings

　　Well-founded grasp of System Implementation

　　Experience with month end closings
